How much ashes, hair, or fur do I need to create a diamond?

Thanks to our advanced carbon extraction technology, we require only a small sample to create your memorial diamond.

If you have not yet decided on your diamond size, we recommend bringing 5g of ashes (approximately 1–2 teaspoons) or 2–5g of hair/fur (approximately 1–2 teaspoons, loosely packed). This provides enough material for the vast majority of orders up to 3ct, giving you the flexibility to choose your preferred diamond size during your consultation.

If you have already decided on your diamond size:

    • Up to 1ct: 2g of ashes (approximately ½ teaspoon) or 2g of hair/fur (approximately 1 teaspoon, loosely packed)
    • 1.01–2.99ct: 5g of ashes (approximately 1–2 teaspoons) or 2–5g of hair/fur (approximately 1–2 teaspoons, loosely packed)
    • 3ct and above: 10g of ashes (approximately 2–4 teaspoons) or 5g of hair/fur (approximately 2 teaspoons, loosely packed)

    *Teaspoon measurements are approximate and intended only as a simple guide. Actual volume may vary depending on the density of the ashes or hair/fur.

How long does it take to custom make a diamond?

We have the fastest lead time globally and will deliver the custom diamonds (no matter the carat) within 3 months of receiving the hair, fur, or ashes.

What if I don't have enough ashes, fur, or hair?

Contact us before placing your order. In many cases, only a small sample is required, and we'll be happy to advise whether the material you have is sufficient for your chosen diamond size.

Can I combine different types of ashes, hair or fur to create a diamond?

Yes. Memorial diamonds can be created using ashes, hair, fur, or a combination of these materials. You may also choose to include a small amount of your own hair, allowing both you and your loved one to become part of the same diamond—a lasting symbol of your connection.

Can I customise my jewellery setting?

Yes. Do send us your design ideas and we will provide you with a reasonable quotation. Customisation can only be done after a diamond is purchased from us.

How do you charge?

Our pricing consists of two components: the memorial diamond and the jewellery setting. Simply choose your preferred diamond, then decide whether you'd like it set in one of our jewellery designs or purchase the diamond on its own. Many customers choose the diamond-only option so they can have it set by their own trusted jeweller or into a sentimental family heirloom. All prices are clearly listed on our website, allowing you to customise a piece that is uniquely yours.
